Dead Inspired Necklace with Maligano Jasper Cabochon with Onyx Accents and Beads in Sterling Silver Pendant

 As many of you know I love the Dead and have listened to them for most of my life. And while Jerry passed when I was 17 his music lives on strong, inspiring new generations.

This piece is an expression of a few things that have inspired much of my “Dead” inspired art.

Much like myself, Jerry was a black t shirt kind of guy, he was often seen wearing a simple and humble black tshirt even when being on the cover of music magazines. Hence the selection of black onyx for the beads and accent stones on this piece.

This piece also has 2 of my cast copies of a nickel I carved a couple years back with the iconic image of Jerry’s Hand and his favored guitar, “Rosebud”.

The center piece includes a Maligano Jasper, a beautiful piece that embraces the monochromatic color scheme but all shows the intricate beauty of nature with the dendritic moss trapped inside, a life that was once volatile but now can been seen forever and continue to show it’s beauty.

All hand fabricated in silver including the saucer beads and strung on stainless steel cord. I hope you enjoy.
